About Valley Christian Preschool
Our Mission
To provide a Christ-centered environment where children, two through five years of age, can grow according to their spiritual, social, physical, and cognitive potential.
Valley Christian Preschool was founded as a ministry of
Valley Lutheran Church in 1995.
Our Goals
To glorify God by providing a program consistent with the highest
academic standards, utilizing the Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards as our educational guide. We will achieve this goal by conducting ongoing assessments, Including specific learning goals in each lesson plan, and adapting our teaching strategies to meet the needs of each student attending Valley Christian Preschool.
SUTQ Accreditation
In recognition of excellence and an ongoing commitment to children, Valley Christian Preschool has received a Five-Star Step Up To Quality Award from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Bureau of Child Care and Development. ODJFS is the state agency responsible for licensing and promoting high standards among Ohio’s early care and education programs.
NAEYC Accreditation
NAEYC Accreditation is a rigorous and transformative quality-improvement system that uses a set of 10 research-based standards to collaborate with early education programs to recognize and drive quality-improvement in high-quality early learning environments.
